Apple Stores POS Outage

Last week Apple stores suffered thru POS outage and were reduced to old style credit card machines according to Techcrunch. Similar outage supposedly hit NCR Silver.

Toshiba gobbles IBM's POS biz for $850m.

Big Blue sheds another hardware biz (while keeping 20% stake). Toshiba becomes the new dominant player.
Approximately 425 wired, wireless and touchscreen point-of-sale terminals by NCR are expected to be installed throughout the stadium by the 2012-2013 season.
